The Game of Thrones is over for what is very likely to be the second to last season. It was a very good season , I likey very much !
It will have to end soon, because every year , the producers have to pay the actors more and more money, till it reaches a point where they can no longer continue on with it.
I liked that we got all ten episodes in a row, this year and didn't have to wait till October for the last five. They could have split them, as the ending for episode five was so amazing.
We could have all then enjoyed meditating on the sight of Emilia Clarke's bare breasts by firelight during the passing months.
Book Ends
Lots of book ends rather than cliffhangers, this makes the fans happy.
No Narrator
From time to time a narrator is required, but there is none. There might have been one, but he was murdered !
The lines Tyrion says are often worded in a narrative style. Brandon's flashbacks have helped partly as narrative and also with the general pacing .
The Bastards Win
It is looking like the bastards will win. The Sandsnakes are all bastard girls. Jon Snow, as you well know is a bastard. And Daenerys Stormborn, that is a bastard name.
