Well That Escalated Quickly

First something unexpected happens

Then  suddenly something else unexpected happens

There is an edginess and unexpectedness about Game of Thrones.

What  will happen  next ? 

Are we to expect the unexpected ?

 Is it even possible to expect the unexpected? 

Douglas Adams once said that  to expect the unexpected is an anachronism . 

On the  other hand, one  of  my friends told  me years ago   that  it  is not. ( Back when I  had friends )

Misdirection became  common use in the TV series  LOST ,  and to a great extent, so  much so  that any story was, um...  lost.
